Project Management

          Here at WHS project management is a course designed to instruct and educate students via true project-based learning. The curriculum was designed around PMI's PPM certification concept which stands as one of the top world recognized certifications.

Computer Engineering 1-2


     - CET 1/2 are classes based on CompTIA's A+ Certification program.

     - We utilize a combination of traditional classroom/lecture, and guided online learning.

     - The majority of the "text" and assignments are located on our Moodle site designed by Explornet.

     - We also do a healthy amount of hands-on lab work on everything from desktops to laptops, PCs   
        and MACs, to mobile devices.


                                        

Network Engineering 1-2

     - Similar to CET, NET is based off Cisco's CCENT Certification program.

     - For this course set we use Cisco's own NetAcademy system.

     - On top of a complete online learning program, NetAcad offers students the use of Cisco's    
        proprietary Packet Tracer virtual network simulator.

     - PT offers us the ability to create a fully functional network diagram that can operate as a 
        network from basic LAN to a representation of the internet.


                                                        
Microsoft IT Academy
     - Formerly Computer Applications, MSITA is a Microsoft Office 2010 learning environment.

     - Using both Blackboard and Microsoft's E-Learning suite, we are able to immerse ourselves in the 
        world of the true Office professional including being given the opportunity to earn MS certifications!

     - Through this course offering students can master the use of Word, PowerPoint, Publisher, Excel,  
        Access, SharePoint, Outlook, and OneNote.
